Schutzhund trained

Tuesday, February 10th, 2009

It seems to be pretty big business to sell dogs that have been trained and come with schutzhund titles. For those who don’t know what shutzhund is, think german shepherd police dogs. There are some breeds more suited than others for shutzhund training. The most popular has to be the german shepherd. Other popular breeds that do well are the Giant Schnauzer, Doberman Pinschers, Belgian Malinois, and Rottweiler. I cant lie, purchasing a dog that comes with such a high level of training sometimes doesnt seem like such a bad thing. Puppies are so cute but are a ton of work that can seem overwhelming at times. To me even its worth the special bond you get with your new best friend when raising your dog from a puppy and going through the puppy training together.
For some special circumstances, skipping the puppy time may be the best for both you and the dog but I think for most people the efforts of raising and training your new puppy will more than pay off. There are many schutzhund clubs that are very helpful to new members (everyone was new once) as well as many nice sites and books on the subject. Dont get too intimidated, all the tools are out there and it just takes time and dedication and you will have your own Schutzhund titled dog and all the gratification that comes with knowing you and your dog did it together.

Puppy and Dog Training Ammunition

With the new movie “Marley and Me” in theaters, I decided to read the book before I go watch it. It was a great read and hit home in so many ways. I love dogs and love learning all I can about them. While reading there were so many times when I wished I could go and help the dog Marley as his owners tried so desperately to train him. So many things that I think would have helped had the owners had all the tools. The dog was diagnosed with a form of ADHD for dogs so Im not saying that there would have been miracles performed had I been able to give obedience training to the puppy but it was clear to me how important it is that we have all the information possible to make the puppy and dog training successful. It was a great book and am excited to now go watch the movie.

Kennel Training Dogs

Dogs can take advantage and improve their training skills from spending most of their time in an exact size kennel. If your dog desires to slip away from the confusion and noise of the people of the house, a kennel is the best refuge. When you are incompetent to provide proper care and supervision to your dog, it’s the safest area for him to rest. Proper dog kennel training and use commonly allows your dog to take pleasure some of his bounded time.

Often enclosed your dog in a kennel every time you leave him alone unsupervised. They can almost injure themselves and even damage your home furnishings. Backyards are the awesome places for you dogs to play and run even with or without your presence. They can bring out bad traits like digging and barking if they’re left unattended in the yard. Clotheslines, gardening devices and swimming pools are unavoidable dangers.

Be sure that your dog can be able to turn around and stand up in his kennel. Take note that as they grow, owners will spend big enough in a kennel dog training as well as to a kennel that can accommodate the adult dog.

Dogs have individual needs different from household’s needs. It is recommended to provide a dog kennel training most especially when the owners are not often at home. It is suggested that you let the door open and permit your dog to use the kennel for a sleeping or retreat haven whenever he wants.

Starts by placing a fresh and clean kennel for your dog with the door propped open. Enable your dog to investigate the kennel if he desired to. You can start implementing basic dog kennel training once he is contented around it. It will only take ten minutes everyday for almost ten days of duration.
